Arsenal Join The Chase For Africa’s Leading Striker

Arsenal have reportedly joined the chase for Gabon striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang, 26, has illuminated the Bundesliga this season alongside Robert Lewandowski, Javier Hernandez and Thomas Muller scoring 17 goals in 18 appearances for Borussia Dortmund and the German side have no desire to sell the £60m rated prolific forward.

However, it is believed Arsenal are ready to push their luck after Gunners boss Arsene Wenger tried to sign the CAF Player of the Year nominee while he was still at Ligue 1 club St Etienne and they have joined many of Europe’s elite clubs trying to land the African leading goal poacher.

Aubameyang is currently in Abuja, Nigeria for the 2015 Glo CAF awards ceremony
