Rio Ferdinand has urged Manchester United to move for Everton defender John Stones.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez has refuted suggestions Stones has an agreement with the club to leave for a certain price, but Ferdinand says United shouldn’t be concerned about that - they should just go out and get him.
“I don’t care how much it is, you get him. You are getting a player for 10 years.
“Him and Raphael Varane are the best in the world, so I wouldn’t be looking at anyone else.
“The team starts at the back. Your platform for winning titles starts in defence.
“If he goes to another English club, they will regret it.”
