It’s claimed that the Spanish club have reached an agreement with last season’s Premier League champions over a move for the Belgium international.
Real Madrid have agreed a €40 million [£32m] deal to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea, according to El Chiringuito de Jugones.
Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda claimed on the programme that the Belgium international is Zinedine Zidane’s priority target and Madrid have already reached an agreement with both the club and the player over a summer transfer.
Hazard was signed for £32 million from Lille in 2012 and was the star man in Chelsea’s title-winning campaign last year.
However, the 25-year-old has been one of Chelsea’s major under-performers this season with no goals and three assists in 26 Premier League appearances so far.
It’s also claimed that Isco and James Rodriguez are among the high-profile players who could leave Madrid this summer if their form does not improve from now until the end of the season
